SURRENDER
. . . pursue
righteousness, godliness, faith, love, endurance and gentleness. 12Fight the
good fight of the faith. Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called
when you made your good confession in the presence of many
witnesses.
1 Timothy 6:11-12
(NIV)
Dear Souls! How little
they know that the abiding in Christ is just meant for the weak, and so
beautifully suited to their feebleness. It is not the doing of some great
thing, and does not demand that we first lead a very holy and devoted
life. No, it is simply weakness entrusting itself to a Mighty One to be
kept—the unfaithful one casting self on One who is altogether trustworthy and
true. Abiding in him is not a work that we have to do as the condition for
enjoying his salvation but a consenting to let him do all for us, and through
us. It is a work he does for–the fruit and the power of his redeeming
love. Our part is simply to yield, to trust and to wait for what he has
engaged to perform.

A HAPPY NEW

With smiling faces and hearts full of
cheer
Let's enter into a grace-filled
year-
Four precious seasons that promise to
bring
Chances to love God, our Father the
King,
Twelve glorious months to serve mankind's
needs,
Fifty-two weeks to do loving
deeds,
Hundreds of fresh days our lives to
fulfill
By doing with love God's unerring
will.
So, enter with joy for rich blessings are
there,
Enter as a child in God's royal

Enter with great love for "Love casts our

Enter expecting a good year is

Then trade time wisely for graces that
last,
Moments are fleeting a year is soon

Prayer
Principles
When we make
request of God, we need to ask within God’s will, with the right attitudes, and
according to guidelines God gives us in His Word. We must pray with clean hearts, not only
receiving God’s forgiving others.
Jesus tell us to
ask in His name (John 14:14).
Asking in His name is not a ritual, however, that produces magical
results. We should pray while
abiding in Christ (John 15:7).
Abiding in Christ involves keeping His commandments and taking His Word
seriously.
God wants us to
pray in humility, recognizing our need of God and submitting ourselves to Him
(Luke 18:9-14). We need to
be sure our petition is in line with God’s will rather tan motivated by selfish
desires.
We must also
pray in faith, Without doubt in our hearts (Matt. 21:21-22). The prayer of faith recognizes God’s
authority and power. God also wants
us to persevere in prayer. Jesus
instructed us to keep on asking, seek, and knocking (Matt. 7:7-8, Luke 11:
5-10).
Have a
blessed month.
In Christ
love,
Brother Gerald
John 14:14 Yes, ask
anything in my name, and I will do it!
John 15:7 If ye abide in me, and my words abide in
you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto
you.
Luke 18:9-14 But if you stay joined to me and my words
remain in you, you may ask any request you like, and it will be
granted!
Matthew 21:21-22 Then Jesus told them, “I assure
you, if you have faith and don’t doubt, you can do things like this and much
more. You can even say to this mountain, ‘May God lift you up and throw you into
the sea,’ and it will happen. 22 If you believe, you will
receive whatever you ask for in prayer.”
Matthew 7:7-8 7 _ "Keep on asking, and you will be given what
you ask for. Keep on looking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door
will be opened. 8For everyone who asks, receives. Everyone who seeks,
finds. And the door is opened to everyone who knocks.
Luke 11:5-10 5Then, teaching them more
about prayer, he used this illustration: “Suppose you went to a friend’s house
at midnight, wanting to borrow three loaves of bread. You would say to him,
6‘A friend of mine has just arrived for a visit, and I have nothing
for him to eat.’ 7He would call out from his bedroom, ‘Don’t bother
me. The door is locked for the night, and we are all in bed. I can’t help you
this time.’ 8 _ But I tell you this—though he won’t do it
as a friend, if you keep knocking long enough, he will get up and give you what
you want so his reputation won’t be
damaged.£
9“And so I tell you, keep on asking, and you will be given what you ask for. Keep on looking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened. 10For everyone who asks, receives. Everyone who seeks, finds. And the door is opened to everyone who knocks.

Are The Stairs To God
Prayers are the stairs
We must climb every day,
If we would reach God
There is no other way,
For we learn to know God
When we meet Him in prayer
And ask Him to lighten
Our burden of care –
So start in the morning
And, though the way’s steep,
Climb ever upward
“til your eyes close in sleep-
for prayers are the stairs
that lead to the Lord,
\And to meet Him in prayer
Is the climber’s reward.

Our
love for god is seen in our love for others!
Stay In The Sunshine!
In his book The Best Is Yet To Be, Henry
Durbanville told the story of a little girl in London who won a prize at a
flower show. Her entry was grown in an old cracked teapot and had been placed in
the rear attic window of a rundown tenement house. When asked how she managed to
raise such a lovely flower in such an unlikely environment, she said she moved
it around so it would always be in the sunlight.
Durbanville then reminded his readers of Jesus’ words, “As the
Father loved Me, I also have loved you; abide in My love” (John 15:9). We learn
from this that we too must keep ourselves continually in the warmth of Christ’s
love.
We abide in Christ’s love when we show love to others.
Jesus made this clear when He said, “If you keep My commandments, you will abide
in My love. . . . This is My commandment, that you love one another as I have
loved you. Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for
his friends” (vv.10,12-13).
We feel the warmth of Christ’s love when we
obey His commandment to love and serve others. That’s the way to stay in the
sunshine! –RWD

The Gospel is contagious – SPREAD IT -!
True worship acknowledges the true worship of God
Only Christ the bread of life can satisfy our spiritual
hunger.
Happiness not only awaits us in Heaven – there’s joy in

The highest goal of learning is to know God.
Praise to God comes naturally when you COUNT YOUR
BLESSING.
You can gain much knowledge on your own, but true wisdom comes
only from God.
God use our down time to build us up.
A Christian’s life is the window through which others can see
Jesus.
To know that God sees us brings both conviction and
comfort.

And

He

We
can live with joys and pleasures-
At

With His love as our

And

We

Without fears or tempt of sin
For his love can be our servant
To

And

And

We

What is faith? It is the confident assurance that what
we hope for is going to happen. It is the evidence of things we cannot yet
see. Hebrews 11:1
(NLT)
Faith
If faith
. . . is a sure persuasion of the truth of God which can neither lie nor deceive
us and be neither vain nor false, those who have conceived the certainty surely
expect likewise that God will accomplish his promises which according to their
conviction, cannot but be true. So
that, in sum, hope is nothing else than the expectation of the things that faith
has believed to be truly promised by God.
Thus faith believes God to be truthful: Hope expects that that he will show his
veracity at the opportune time.
Faith believes God to be our Father: Hope expects that he will always act as
such towards us. Faith believes eternal life to be given to us: Hope expects that is shall at some time
be revealed. Faith is the foundation on which hope rests: Hope nourishes and maintains faith. For, just as no one can expect and hope
anything from God, except he who will have first believed his promises, so on
the other hand, it is necessary that our feeble faith (lest it grow weary and
fail) be sustained and kept by patients hope and expectation. (Source: God’s Words of Life by John Calvin)

Fear says we’ll never win the race,
But

Fear drives us far away from God,
But

We need to place our trust in Him,

Our fears can bind us evermore,

“The Bible may be old but its TRUTH is
always new!”
You Can
Study the Bible
BIBLE STUDY
A
Christian who doesn’t study his Bible is
like a traveler who doesn’t consult his map or a builder who neglects his
blueprints. The Bible is the Word
of God: It’s the Lord Himself speaking to us in written form. It tells us how to be saved, gives us
principles to live by, commands us, guides us, uplifts us, and puts us in direct
contact with the truth. It answers
life’s basic questions, telling us where we came from, how we got where we are,
what it all means, and where we are going. It captures the heroic deeds of the
men God used to make Himself known, to lead His people, to establish His church
and to reach the lost. It tells us
to the evil works of godless rulers, and records the faithful, inspiring deeds
of men and women of great faith and courage! Its poetry lifts us to the loftiest
heights; its parables open up rich kernels of truth; its epistles tell us how to
live day by day. And its prophecies
transport us into the end times, revealing to us what lies ahead for believers,
the Jews, and the unsaved.
In
spite of this, for many Christians the Bible is virtually a closed book. “If I could learn Greek and Hebrew, I
could study it,” I heard one woman say.
Another person was scared away because he didn’t have a college degree
and was unfamiliar with big words.
Still another thought that only preachers have the right to try to figure
out what the Bible means.
But
the Word of God belongs to everyone.
It’s not reserved for the seminary graduate or Bible college professor–
it’s been given to us all. Every
Christian, regardless of his education and background, can study the Scriptures
for himself and profit tremendously from it.
You
already have the four most important elements for Bible study: a copy of Scriptures, a pen, a piece of
paper, and your eyes. Yes, I’ll guarantee that if you’ll decide to invest some
time and effort studying the Bible on your own, you’ll begin to grow, not only
in your understanding of God's Word but also in you spiritual live. As the words of this Book of books
become alive in your heart, you’ll find important changes taking place in every
aspect of your life. You'll be more
intolerant of sin and more patient with others. You’ll take an important place in your
church. And you’ll become part of
the solution rather than part of the problem.
Besides the four requirements I mentioned
above, two others are absolutely essential for profitable Bible study. First, you must be born again by
believing in Christ, the living Savior.
Second, as a believer, you have the Holy Sprit, the spirit of truth
living within your heart.
He indwells to guide you in understanding the Scriptures.

finally struck home to the numbers of readers. To others it
was a real job.
We want it to be a most fascinating few moments for
you. Yes, there will be
some real easy ones to spot. Others may
require judges to help them. I
will quickly admit, it usually takes a
minister to find one of them and
there will be loud lamentations when it is
found. A little lady says she
brews a cup of tea so she can concentrate
better. See how well you can
compete. Relax now for there really
are sixteen names of the books in the

MAY Words for
Thought
The more time we spend with Christ, the more we become like
Christ.
We have to face our sins before we can put them behind
us.
God gave you a message to share – don’t keep it to
yourself.
Salvation is free gift, but we must receive it.
If you don’t hold your tongue, you may have to eat your
words.
Faith is simply taking God at his WORD!
You will be able to trust the Bible when you have come to
trust its author.
To know lasting happiness we must get to know Jesus.
Worry ends where faith begins.
We live in the world, but we must let the world live in
us.
To become Christ like, fill your mind with Christ like
thoughts.

When life becomes empty of friendships and joy,
And you are
disposed to despair
Reach out to the Lord for the comforts of love
He offers in
Bible and prayer:
And find a little time to spend, every day,
In a church that
is special to you
Where you can commune with the Spirit of God
From a throne,
on a wooden pew.
He knows of the heartaches you suffer to bear-
When life
becomes barren and old:
And He knows why you cry – alone and afraid –
In a home that
is empty and cold.
So, He offers you havens of peaceful content
And the Grace of
His comfort and care
In words of the Bible – and refuge of love –
That is church
to your every prayer

Obedience
. . . Obey me and do everything I command you, and you will be my people, and I will be your God
Jeremiah 11:4(NIV)
Whosoever keeps
the whole law yet offends at one point is guilty of all (see James 2:10). He is rightly
subject to the whole penalty. If he
habitually disobeys God in one thing, then he doesn’t obey him in anything,
because obedience to God consists in and attitude of the heart. It is
willingness to obey God, to let him rule everything. So if a
person habitually disobeys God in one thing, his state of heart renders
obedience in anything else impossible, because a person can’t in one area obey;
God out of respect for this authority while in another area refuse obedience.
Obedience to God is an obedient state of
heart, preference for God’s authority and commandments over everything
else. If a person therefore appears
to obey in some areas yet he knowingly disobeys in others, he is deceived. He offends in one point, and this proves
he is guilty of all; in others words, he doesn’t obey from the heart at
all. If a person refuses to obey
God’s law, even a single duty, he has no true faith, and his outwardly spiritual
acts are loathsome.

A Will I Must Obey
The green, green grass of Summer
Has changed to shades of brown,
And the smiling faces of Autumn
Looks like a
circus clown.
Crimson leaves and purple sunsets
Too soon will fade away,
For nature and the seasons
Know a will they must obey.
Grass isn’t green forever,
And nothing gold can stay,
But Springtime follows Winter
When the snow melts away.
The Word of God’s unchanging
Though seasons come and go,
Though the roses loses their petals’
And rivers cease their flow.
Like the seasons, I keep changing;
There’s a Will I must obey,
And the Word of God shall guide me
On my journey all the way.

Will of God
How many times have we had trouble and our first thought was, " surely this is
not the will of God". But we must remember God's Own is led by the Holy Spirit
as the Father gives instructions. Our God is Sovereign and what we may think,
could not be the Will of God, may very well be the perfect Will of
God.
Ask
Moses, as he led Israel out of bondage and came face to face with the Red Sea.
The army behind him and the sea ahead of him. Could this be the Will of God? Yes
it was the perfect Will of God. Joseph sold into slavery, could this be the Will
of God? Read his story and we find out he was in the perfect Will of
God. Ask Job, even he questioned what was happening to him. But we see he
was in the perfect Will of God. Ask Jesus, His flesh cried out " not my will but
thine". The Divine part of Jesus did not question the Father's Will, His
flesh did. But we know He was in the Perfect Will of God. Then there was Paul.
Time spent in prison, went hungry and so many other things, but we know he was
in the Perfect Will of God. It was in those times he received many revelations
from the Holy Spirit, that he gave to the Body of Christ. This is only a
few that was in the Perfect Will of God.
It is
our valley experiences that we learn about the Divine Love, Mercy, Compassion,
Grace and forgiveness of a Sovereign God. Along with patience, humbleness,
courage and more. It is in the valley's, that sheep find food to live on and
water to drink. Mountain top experiences only last a little while and never feed
or water the soul.
So if
you are walking through a valley, do not question if it be the Will of God. Take
courage and bow to the One who loves you with an Everlasting Love. The valley
experiences will not destroy us, but letting God Work His Perfect Will, will
bring us closer to him.
The next
time we do not understand what is happening, may we turn to the Father and
say
" Have
your Perfect Will in my life".
THE
SHELTER OF GOD'S WILL
The Will
of God will never take you, where the Grace of God cannot keep you, where the
Arms of God cannot support you, where the Riches of God cannot supply your needs
and where the Power of God cannot endow you.
The Will
of God will never take you, where the Spirit of God cannot work through you,
where the Wisdom of God cannot teach you, where the Army of God cannot protect
you and where the Hands of God cannot mold you.
The will
of God will never take you, where the Mercies of God cannot sustain you, where
the Peace of God cannot calm your fears and where the Authority of God
cannot over rule for you, where the Comfort of God cannot dry your tears,
where the Word of God cannot feed you.
To a
Child of God everything happens for a purpose. We may not see the Wisdom of it,
but Trust and keep your faith in the One who holds our life and soul in His
Hand. He knows what is best for us all, no matter how deep or wide the trial. He
will never allow us to be destroyed by it.

Wisdom
Get
wisdom, get understanding; do not forget my words or swerve from them. 6Do not forsake wisdom, and she will
protect you; love her, and she will watch over you. 7Wisdom is supreme; therefore get wisdom.
Though it cost all you have, get understanding.
Proverbs 4:5-7 (NIV)
Wherein does true wisdom consist?
Were I to ask some of you, perhaps you would say, true wisdom consisted
in adding house to house, and field to field, and calling lands after their own
names; but this cannot be true wisdom; for riches often take to themselves
wings, and fly away.
Perhaps you place
wisdom in the knowledge of books:
but learned men are not always wise. To keep you therefore no longer in
suspense, I will send you to a heathen to learn what true wisdom is: “Know thyself,” was a saying of one of
the wise men of Greece; this is certainly true wisdom, and this is that wisdom
spoken of in {I Corinthians 1:30}, and which Jesus Christ is made to all elect
sinners-they are made to know themselves, so as not think more highly of
themselves than they ought to think.
Before, they were darkness; now, they are light in the Lord. They now see that all their
righteousness are but as filthy rags.
That there is no name given under heaven, whereby they can be saved, make
to them wisdom.

Let Go, Let God
I learned after so many failures

decisions I made;
To let go and let God do the doing,
but there was a
price to be paid.
My mind was filled with worries and fears

was beginning to fail.
I got to the lowest ebb in my life,
like a sailboat

Then a wee , small voice in my spirit said –

Trust in
the Lord
Faith
By
Judith Pike
How many
times have we heard, " if you just had more Faith ". I asked the Holy Spirit how
do we know we have enough Faith? Does Faith come in big and small portions? The
Spirit of God said, " there is only one measure of Faith, that is, " Faith in
God ". Jesus said in Matthew 13:31-32..faith the size of a mustard seed...That
is the measure of " Faith in God " that grows as we grow spiritually. As we take
God's Word into our spirit, our Faith increases. Romans 10:17..faith comes
by hearing [spiritual hearing].
A young Convert has the measure of Faith that only knows there is a God. That
Faith is just as great as the Faith of Saints who have preached, seen God work
mighty works and have walked with Him many years. The years have increased the
Faith of Older Saints, helps them believe for greater things. But the measure of
Faith for young Converts and Older Saints is still, "Faith in God".
WHAT IS FAITH IN GOD? Believing God is the Mighty Creator. Believing God's Word
is His Voice to all humanity. And that He will bring to pass all He has
promised, to Saints and Sinners. Believing God is a God of Divine Love for all
His Creation. That He will also deal with His Creation in Mercy, Grace,
Compassion, Forgiveness and Love, for Saints and Sinners. Believing He loved His
Creation so much, He sent His Son Jesus, the final sacrifice for sin, to die on
a cruel cross. Then raised Him from the dead and His Son Jesus " ever lives to
make intercession " for all who come to Him. The Father honors His Son Jesus. If
you want all Heaven to open it's doors and windows to you, just say the Name of
Jesus in Worship.
If this is all we know to believe, we know enough. Jesus said in Mark 4:40..how
is it that you have no faith?.. They lacked the measure of Faith that says, "
God is bigger than any storm ". So the next time you are having a hard time with
your Faith, just remember if you have " Faith in God"
you have
all the Faith you need. Answers to our prayers is not always " yes ". We can
claim a promise but remember promises come with conditions. God is Sovereign,
that means we must
"
rightly divide the Word " 2 Timothy 2:15
There are times God says " no ", it is not because we lack Faith. But in His
will and way for our lives, the request may be " denied ". How many times have
you turned down request from your children? Not because you was mean, but
because you seen things they did not see. God sees us as His Family and we may
request things that He sees is not good for us. His will and plan may be
different. But if we have that measure of " Faith in God ", then we will accept
His will.
Remember, Our Father sees " miles down our road of life ", we only see " inches
" down the road. Read the message " My Grace Is Sufficient " on the Anchor For
Life web site. Go to index and under Comfort. http://www.n-link.com/~jpike
DOES JESUS CARE?
Does Jesus care when my heart is pained to deeply to sing, as the burdens press

Does Jesus care when my way is dark, with dread and fear? As the daylight fades

Rejuvenated
Prayer
strengthens my faith and rejuvenates my soul!
For farmers, the
time between the harvest and the nest planting is an important time of planning.
Decisions about crops and soil are made.
In order to have a good harvest later, farmers rejuvenated the soil by
putting back nutrients that have been used in growing the crops.
My faith acts as
soil in which my life is deeply rooted, and prayer rejuvenates my soul. As I continue to pray, I continue to
strengthen my faith. My harvest
from my daily times of life-affirming prayer is spiritual awareness. I am renewed in spirit, mind and
body. What a blessing my
daily communion with God is, for it strengthens my faith and rejuvenates my
soul.

Values
For the word of the Lord
holds true, and everything he does is worthy of our trust.
Psalms 33:4
Walk through a
museum and you will see all the orders of animals standing in their various
places and exhibiting themselves with the utmost possible propriety. Every creature, whether bird, beast or
fish remains in the particular glass case allotted to it. But we know that these are not the
creatures, but only the outward semblances of them. Yet in what do they differ?
Certainly in nothing, which you could readily see,
for the well-stuffed animal is precisely like what the living animal would have
been. That eye of glass even
appears to have more brightness in it than the natural eye of the creature
itself. But there is a secret
inward something lacking, which, when it has once departed, you cannot
restore. So in the church of
Christ, many professing believers are not living believers, but stuffed
Christians. They possess all
the externals of religion, and every outward morality that you could
desire. They behave with great
propriety, they keep their places, and there is no outward difference between
them and the true believer, except upon the vital point, the life, which no
power on earth can possibly confer

Great is God’s Mercy
Great and merciful is our Lord,
A gracious God is He;
His mercies are new every morning,
They’re there for you and me.
So often we fail our Saviour
As onward through life we go
But if we will ask Him for mercy,
Mercy to us He’ll show.
God says He is rich in mercy
And mercy so oft’ we need.
Toward each and all those
Who fear Him.
His mercy is great, indeed.
‘Twas according to His mercy
He saved us, made us new;
Since merciful is our Father,
May we be merciful, too.
Loise Pinkerton Fritz
Be ye
therefore merciful, as your Father also is merciful.

LOVING GOD
I love
you, Lord; you are my strength.
The Lord is my rock, my
fortress, and my savior; my God is my rock, in whom I find protection. He is my
shield, the strength of my salvation, and my stronghold. Psalms
18:1-2
Let
us all love with all our heart, with all our soul, with all our mind, with all
our strength and fortitude, with all our understanding and with all our powers,
with our whole might and whole affection, with our innermost parts, our whole
desires, and wills, the Lord God, who has given and gives to us all, the whole
body, the whole soul, and our life; who has created and redeemed us, and by his
mercy alone will save us; who has done and does all good to us, miserable and
wretched, vile, unclean, ungrateful, and evil.
Let us
therefore desire nothing else, wish for nothing else, and let nothing please and
delight us except our Creator and Redeemer, and Saviour, the only true God, who
is full of good, who alone is good, merciful and kind, gentle and sweet, who
alone is holy, just, true, and upright, who alone is benign, pure, and clean,
from whom, and through whom, and in whom is all mercy, all grace, all glory all
penitents and of the just, and of all the blessed rejoicing in heaven. Let nothing therefore hinder us, let
nothing separate us, let nothing come between us.

God’s Love
God’s love is ever boundless.
It spans a world-wide chart;
Yet reaches down to you and me
And dwells within our heart.
God’s love is ever faithful,
Steadfast through every day.
A love that never will forsake –
He’ll be with us always.
God’s love is never-changing.
He’s every day the same.
He loves us now.
He always will.
Oh, glory to His Name!
God’s love is
never-ending,
Last through eternity.
Forever and forevermore
His love
for us shall be!

I THANK HIM
I thank Him for the morning light
That takes away the gloom,
For ev’ry breeze that cools the day,
And all
the flowers that bloom.
For ev’ry friendship I have made,
For a love that I have shared,
For ev’ry kindness shown to me
That
proved that someone cared.
My heart is filled with gratefulness
And I daily give Him praise
For all the blessings he bestows
In so
many different ways.

There Will Always Be God
By Juanita Pike
They cannot
shell His Temple or dynamite His Throne. They cannot bomb His city or rob Him of
His Own. They cannot take Him captive or strike Him deaf or blind. Cannot starve
Him to surrender or make Him change His mind. They cannot cause Him to panic,
nor cut off His supplies. They cannot take His Kingdom, nor hurt Him with
their lies. Though the world be shattered, His Truth remains the same. Hid
Righteous Laws still stand and Father is still His Name. Though we face war and
struggle and feel their "darts" against us, we know above all the
confusion; there will always be Our God. That is why I Love and Trust Him.
It is the fool who says there is no Living God, Psalms 14: 1.

THE EVERLASTING GOD!
We
worship the everlasting God, yet we cannot even truly fathom what eternity
is. We realize that God existed
before time began. How does this
affect our confidence in His promise.
God’s artistry formed the
landscape of eternity. His
everlasting covenants, His promises fulfilled and beginning fulfilled, mark the
course of His relationship with mankind, beginning with the rainbow in
Genesis 9:16-17. His eternal
gifts to His children include joy (Isaiah 35:10), love
(Jeremiah 31:3), mercy, and righteousness (Psalms
103:17). God is our never-ending strength(Isaiah 40:28-31) and our inextinguishable light(Isaiah 60:19-20). God’s rule is complete. He reigns without the possibility of
defeat (Daniel 7:27).
Furthermore, God has designed and eternal dwelling place for us
with Him(John 14:3).
Before and throughout
human history God has been acting in our behalf, accomplishing His redemptive
purposes. A God so can be
trusted to keep his promises today.

Psalms 103:17
28Have you never heard or understood? Don’t you
know that the Lord is the
everlasting God, the Creator of all the earth? He never grows faint or weary. No
one can measure the depths of his understanding. 29 _ He
gives power to those who are tired and worn out; he offers strength to the weak.
30Even youths will become exhausted, and young men will give up.
31 _ But those who wait on the Lord will find new
strength. They will fly high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow
weary. They will walk and not faint.
Isaiah 40:28-31
“No longer will you need the sun or moon to give you light,
for the Lord
your God will be your everlasting light, and he will be your glory.
20The sun will never set; the moon will not go down. For the Lord will be your
everlasting light. Your days of mourning will come to an end.
Isaiah 60:19-20
Then the sovereignty, power, and greatness of all the kingdoms

The Tree
It’s time to cut the Christmas tree,
The day will
soon be here
When friends will join in merrily
In feasting and
good cheer.
With dad into the woods we’ll go
Hopefully to
find
That special tree before the snow
Shall make us
change our mind.
It must not be too large, or small,
Too massive or
too thin,
But one to fit the entrance hall
To greet those
coming in.
To celebrate the meaning of
Christmas and to
see
The gift created with God’s love.
A handsome
Christmas tree.
